Central Ohio to Orlando

This will be our first major drive in the Greyhawk 29MV. I am looking at the route that takes us thru Charlotte, Columbia, and Jacksonville. Will it be less stressful on the wife if I take the bypass loops around these major cities? Or is straight thru just as bad?
Any suggestions for overnight stops along that route? Planning on 2 overnights in each direction. WV & SC on the way down. Undecided for the return.

Yes take the bypasses. Charlotte can be as bad or worse than Atl and J-Ville isn't much better. Especially this time of yr

Regarding Jacksonville, and while there is construction going on, Google has routed us straight though on two trips this year. We encountered a couple slow downs where lanes shift but had no issues.

BTW, we used Point South / Yemassee KOA Journey right off 95 in SC for our travel rest - small but nice and staff is great.

Thanks for that info. We are strongly considering that one. Good distance for the last leg into Orlando.
