Finally made it back home after 2,312 miles and averaging 9.3 MPG for the whole trip. Actually had better MPG’s going to FL than coming back...probably because I drove a couple MPH faster coming home. This is the furthest from home that we have traveled. Gave us a good idea of what our planned Grand Canyon trip in June will be like cooked up in the TV together for that long.
Problems on this trip:
1. Discovered water leak only when filling fresh tank at the panel.
2. Wood trim fell off during trip down to FL.
3. The furnace is giving me an unknown issue. When I turn it on, it does absolutely nothing! I have to go into the basement, remove the panels and hit the reset switch every time??
4. Somewhere between MS & TX on the drive back, I lost my front driver side wheel cover??
That’s all...was a very successful trip!

Not too bad considering the time spent and mileage. My 1000 mike round trip yielded the same mpg, a broken landing leg, and an infestation of really big ants at the dining slide. Now we get to make repairs so we’re ready for the next outing!
BTW, I believe Texas and California (of all places) has the “best” diesel with regards to cetane rating, thus giving you better mileage there with Texas fuel vs coming home on Florida fuel.
Beautiful kids Dan. I’m guessing you’re like me and “out kicked your coverage” when you married. Lol!

That's a fun trip. The kid's have fun and you come home tired and broke. Glad you made it back home safe. It's fun for the adults to.

One reason being the Magic Kingdom is running at capacity and has been for some time. Now with Avatar opening and Toy Story Land and Star Wars coming in the not too distant future so will Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Also the FORT is full during all Holidays, Spring Break and Weekends, that's why the winter discounts disappeared.
Completely "supply and demand". Even the Marathon's sell out almost immediately.

I was smart...married my high school sweetheart before I got really ugly! I most definitely married outside of my league. Lol
Thank goodness the girls look like their mother!

Beautiful family Dan, glad you had a great trip! FYI..my furnace does the same thing. They changed the main board in the furnace and it still does the same thing. Waiting to find out what they did this time to fix it.

Picture taken while dining at Garden Grill correct?
This could be a new Disney trivia game. Name the restaurant by a quick snapshot.

Loving these pictures!! You have a beautiful family and it looks like you had a good time.
We are now planning our trip for July 2019. We would like to go this year, but we really need a bit more time using our TT before we go that far.
But I love your pics. 1900 Park Fair and Garden Grille are some of our favorites.
Enjoyed your pics.

Let me know if you get the problem fixed. I'm not under warranty anymore, so I'll need to do the fix myself.

Either I'm good or I've just been there WAY too many times.

My sentiments, exactly! We've been twice this year in Jan & Feb. Next time we WILL NOT LEAVE the campground. I want to enjoy the Fort Wilderness amenities.

I think that is a RAM thing..... I have lost two and almost lost a third (but found it on the dirt road I live on). For my 2012 they are right at $100 a pop.....

I lost 2 on my Ford so it’s not only a Dodge thing. Same wheel, too [emoji35]

Have you guys ever considered just moving to an aluminum dually wheel? A friend of mine here just purchased a set from Ultra wheels. They do not appear to be of Alcoa quality, but not bad for just over $200 each.

Fax Number
Hi, would someone mind sharing the fax number? Sounds like we should ask to stay in the 400 loop? We have reservations for early April. Also, do they have any pull through sites?
