Our only 2 visits were in 200 and 300 loop, I would not say they were spacious with our 30’ class C but clean and safe. Our Canadian dollar makes our happy place very very expensive. Hope to be back to Florida winter 2022 but will need to find affordable and not state parks they are just to difficult to get into.

100, 200 & 300 are actually some of the smaller sites, but have a higher price since they are closest to the Marina. At one time 300 was one of the only loops that allowed dogs, but that has changed and they are now allowed in all loops.

Fort Wilderness is indeed a magical place to glamp. We have only glamped there 3 times and with the exception of last September (Covid mask nonsense), we have always enjoyed our stay. However, prices are getting somewhat ridiculous, especially with the Covid restrictions and the lack of extra stuff because of Covid.
I won't be going back until "things" change back to what I remember as "normal" ... unless, of course, the wife says different

Today we booked 4 weeks in January 2022. $5000.00 approximately. Then we rented a golf cart off site and saved $$550..00. Disney’s cart rental is too high. We rented the biggest site and our 17’ camper is on a very large concrete slab.

Driving to Fort Wilderness from Cape Cod next February (we hope). Just now looking for slow park days. We hope to drive 15-17hour days between wife and me while one rests. Been to the resorts many times. Just always flew. Just researching now.

The campground is the best! If you can try to stay in the back. Larger sites , quiet and nice to have a golf cart. Makes looking at all the TVs fun. Hope the boats and bass guides are there. We like the campground more than the park. We have stayed at the hotels but the campground is a better experience. Try not to fly.

I have family members that have a tough time all getting away at same time except summer. I just made reservations yesterday at Camo Wilderness for us & our TT. Will be five of us and now I'm having second thoughts. I see that I will be in rainy season, hot/humid weather. Are we all going to regret this trip? Anybody out there with experienced advice on this from a similar time at Disney Thanks.

We stayed at a resort in June about 6 years ago (we go almost every year for past 10 years) It all depends how comfortable in the heat, rain and humidity you are. We have family that live 20 minutes away from WDW. They always say a thunderstorm is always coming through, but it usually passes. We had a stock pile of disposable ponchos and unless the thunderstorm was overhead we kept walking through the rain. That being said, if you are sensitive to humidity, rain and heat you might want to think about it. We wore quick dry shirts and shorts with sandals and crocs. 3 of the 6 days we were wet half the days and the other three days we were hot and sticky. We just kept the kids drinking the whole time. I had more of a problem with tight lines and BO of other people :-). Our most recent visit was Dec 2019 and I swear I caught COVID, but after that visit we will only go off peak winter. Next trip, mid Feb 2022 Camp W

Thanks for reply. I am also hoping AC in trailer would be big enough to make things somewhat comfortable at nights.

We've been there in every season including AUGUST with our daughter and family in a hybrid. Their a/c kept their unit comfortable during the day with no problem. Many sites have shade so that helps with the day-time sun. As was mentioned summer is the rainy season in FL, but showers come and go.

That is great to hear. I have been considering staying there with our trailer. We too considered KOA but really wanted to be on site. I heard the Disney campgrounds do rent out the golf carts. I do not know how much though.

$62.91 plus tax per day. There are outside vendors who are much cheaper , but with several you have to meet them off DIS property, use their trailer and the same for return.
