That's the generator I used to run (or at least a variant of that one, I think my wattage was a bit different). Never had a problem running my one 15K AC unit. I also installed a Supco hard start cap in that unit to make it a little easier on things to get it started.
Given the vintage of the generator, I would highly recommend a tune-up. Also, if you can, you should run ethanol-free fuel in it. If you can't or don't have access (I don't have readily available access to it where I live), you should at least run some kind of stabilizer. Fuel with ethanol has a really short shelf life and wreaks havoc on small engines. I switched to canned ethanol-free fuel (STUPID expensive) in my lawn equipment, and haven't had a problem since.
I was trying to get a buddy's generator running a while back when I borrowed it to run a parade float, and I found Sea Foam was pretty good at cleaning things out.

I have two energizers that we run in parallel. Used it last elk season in Wyoming. They are very quite, and had not problem running my 40' 5th wheel. Kept the furnace and appliances going even in the legendary Wyoming wind! No complaints at all. Honda and Yamaha may be king, but for the price and performance, I am more than happy.

I did the oil change, cleaned the air filter and put in a new spark plug. The manual says to gap the plug between .070”-.080” so I gaped it’s at 0.70. I looked at the original plug that’s run in the generator since new. The plug the Champion installed was gapped at 0.30”. Now that I’ve done the maintenance to it, the generator will now run the 15k btu air conditioner. I wouldn’t even think of running the second air conditioner while running the main one. I don’t think I’ll use the main unit, but it would be nice to know that I can if I would like to. I may still get the soft start/ hard start cap in it as well.

Your lawn equipment needs fuel? 😱 Mine doesn’t.

Simply plug in a wire to each terminal of the run capacitor. Only two wires.

Actually, no. This is what my "lawn equipment" looks like these days.
DW has it done by a local church group looking for a little extra scratch, so it's cheap. So cheap that it would take me at least 6 years of paying the lawn crew just to purchase the mower I would want. And that's just the mower; forget about the fuel, maintenance, trimmers, blowers, time, etc.

BTW, start capacitor is SUPER easy to install. The hardest part is actually getting up on the roof and removing the AC shroud.

Is there a certain capacitor to buy for the ac? A brand preference and/or size? Is it the same for the different sizes of units on rv’s?

This is the one I used on my 15K Coleman Mach in my TT, and I got another of the same one for the 13.5K Coleman High Efficiency I installed on my MH.

We bought two Energizer 2000 watt gens that we run parallel together while dry camping. We have an Eagle 317 RLOK. They are quiet and do a good job. Of course you cannot run the micro wave and AC at the same time, but other than that, they are not very limiting. As you say Honda Honda Honda, but I have no regrets with the Energizers. We picked up two for right at 1K.
