Welcome to the forum.
Cooling has been a 'hot topic' here recently. Several of us have used an infrared non-contact thermometer to find sources heat.
In the direct sun, 10 to 15degF cooler inside is common. Parking the trailer in shade is the single most effective way to fight the heat.
Using the infrared thermometer, sources of heat are...
-Ceiling roof vents and skylights
-In our TT, the ceiling of the slide out was warmer than the rest of the ceiling. A slide topper took care of that.
-The usual tinted widows get hot and that heats up the interior. Closing the blinds doesn't help; they get warm and that heats up the interior, too.
-We covered the interior of the trailer windows in the sun with the windshield sun screens cut to fit. That helped a lot.
-We hung colorful beach towels to shade some of the windows. That, too, helped a lot.
I'm sure you'll hear a whole bunch more on the heat issue.
