Just heard 800000 people attending dragon con in atl this weekend. Glad im heading north to go camp. It did make me ponder...may the forest be with you.

My daughter and her friends wll all be in Atlanta. They've been going for more than 10 years. She has met some wonderful (and not so wonderful) people there. My favorite was Adam Savage.

But, if I lived around there I'd go to another state

I'd never heard of this till a couple years back when I was at a hotel in Peachtree for work and this was going on. Interesting group of people there. Looked like they were having fun.

On a side note, the oddest group I've ever come across was a convention at yet another hotel...Babscon. Bay Area Bronies con. Look it up.

We were among the 70,000 OTHER people in Atlanta that weekend... going to the UW-Auburn football game.

Lots of interesting people all over the city... now I know why!
