Broken window

Hello fellow RVrs,
Quick question......has any replaced the rectangular upper window in the dinette of a 31UL?
We had an unfortunate situation with a lawnmower and a stone!!😠

I’m not sure how much help I’ll be but I replaced the kitchen window in our now sold X23B which was broken. It’s not a dinette window and was a different model but . . .
I measured it and found a replacement on eBay.

If the frame was not broken can you take it to a glass shop. Most should be able to cut a piece and replace it into the old frame a few $.

Do you think a place like Safelite would have the black tempered glass that's in it?

You do not mention if it is a framed or frameless window. If framed. I have used a piece of heavy card stock and made a template for the glass company. Just remember to leave enough clearance.

Our frame-less window had the crank mechanism break loose from the glass. After much discussion on repair/replace and instead of using something like the glue used on the rear view mirror of your trucks windshield. Jayco said the complete combo window would need to be replace. Needless to say after waiting six weeks for the dual frame window set to come in. Its fixed.
