Manyy things can cause false alarms on the lp/02 alarm. If you read or use one you will find: dust, dog / human flatulance can cause problems. Low battery voltage can cause false alarm

On out last trip ours was set off by talcuum power. First time in 20 years.

The danger is getting complacent and disconnecting it. It can save your life.

In all my years of RV'ing in one Class A, and three travel trailers, with two dogs, two cats, and my dear wife, we have never had an CO/propane alarm go off. A smoke alarm over the toaster has been the only alarm problem. We have an additional CO only alarm in the bedroom.


I would suspect the OP, wherever she is, has a defective alarm.
