Dexter EZ Flex

Anyone running the Dexter EZ Flex suspension system on their trailers? I've been thinking about upgrading, but was hoping that someone around here could give some first hand experience/reviews.

Texas A&M,

I installed the kit on my TT....., sorta.

I'll refer you to another thread that addressed my situation, and you may have the same condition I ran into. Measure your existing equalizer to insure it will match up to the dimensions of the Dexter equalizer product, and also measure your wheel well clearance for reference as well.

I knew I remembered seeing someone who had a different kind of equalizer, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks for the link. I'll check out my existing shackles the next time I use the trailer. Hopefully Jayco has switched things up since 2005 and I can install the kit without any issues.

Sean,

I'm a little confused (happens often these days), are you saying you don't have the standard leaf spring and shackle style suspension?

The Dexter EZ Flex kit still utilizes the spring and shackle style suspension, it just replaces/up-grades some of the existing hardware.

My mistake I guess mine is the rubber torsion axles... that is what I thought he was switching to...

Seann,

Got it, you have the TorFlex suspension.

A little off subject, I like the rear living room floorplan of your '09' 308RLS because the main entry door doesn't break up the living room, and both the sofa and chair have an easy view of the entertainment center (not looking over a dinette or kitchen sink).
