Entry Door Piano Hinge Slipping

Never posted, before; so hopefully this close to the right place. The subject pin is falling while driving. I've seen it as much as 8 inches, between fuelings, as we cross country. I've found no literature, out there, to keep this from happening (RV sites or locksmith sites). Any help appreciated. Godspeed, RAD

Welcome to the group! I would try driving the pin up from the bottom and then try mushrooming to top of it slightly. That should keep it from sliding down and may even wind up being a permanent fix.

Thankee kindly. Little room to work at top; will probably opt to attempt to put channels in pin and use a snap ring, of some kind.

After putting the pin back in place, take a pair of vise grips and squeeze the very bottom 1/2" of the bottom most hinge segment. This should pinch the pin so it can't drop out.
