3-5" of snow coming today! Glad I winterized again yesterday. She gets tucked away to bed in 10 days ! I was hoping to get her washed and waxed one last time, but the forecast is not looking so good

Yikes. I think that's the same storm that Eau Claire is supposed to get. And the UP, where my daughter lives.

I did mine last weekend. Also it was just warm enough to apply Eternabond tape to the front roof seam as PM. All put to bed now.

Quite a contrast as we are having a nice Indian summer. I wore my warm weather (mesh) riding gear on today’s Honda Shadow ride. We leave Sunday on the Greyhawk for a week at Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina.

We're looking to escape downstate NY for FL before the first freeze.

We were boondocking for 5 nights last weekend. The lowest Low we saw was 22 degrees. We had a few days of a snow sleet mix. Nothing stuck. I can tell you when you camp in that weather in a HTT, and you do not run the heat at night, the inside temp is only a couple degrees warmer than outside. We ran the Genny every morning and night for a few hours to recharge the battery (group 31) and run the electric heat. FYI, I use a CPAP, so hard to run the heat all night and the CPAP, as the furnace never turns off (kinda like a PU). Every morning the battery voltage read 12.2 volts, so we could have ran the heat more. During that trip we were not winterized.

We have been having that discussion. I am pushing to buy a small used walk behind skid loader. The other thought has been a ATV with a plow (that is the DS's vote).

Right now we have 3-4 inches on the ground.

I winterized and put away this morning before the snow hit. Got back yesterday from 5 days in Iowa, Mn, Wi, a quick dip into Missouri. Dodged snow flurries all the way but we got lucky and missed the heavier snow here and in Iowa.
Didn't get a chance to clean off the Iowa dust, maybe this spring.

Wow, just in time we are going out one more time next Monday for four days but when I come back I will be doing a winterization.

I love it when I get ahead of the game.

As long as we have had our TT, it has only seen maybe an inch of snow

Are we still allowed to call it "Indian summer"? I'm sure someone will take offence.

I remember those October snows growing up on the range. We have one more trip this weekend than nighty night for the TT.

I'd be doing the same .. but reluctant to go south because of the Covid-19 rates .. doesnt seem worth the risk.
