Great job. Bet you could do really great things with cammy! But DW will love the racks for a couple of wine glasses. I'll surprise her. Thanks, your rig looks great.

Couple questions regarding the mounting....

Any chance you can post the distance between the ceiling and top mounting hole and from the wall and top mounting hole. Also, did you use the supplied hardware for both holes?

In the bathroom the "studd" ran all the way down the wall. A hint for finding studs in your jayco is to look carefully and you will see putty where they patched the nail holes when they put up the panelling. Also knocking on the wall will certainly confirm the position of the stud. I mounted the towel rack with the top "swirley" piece of wrought iron about 4 inched from my ceiling and the mounting hole about 6 inches from the ceiling..
For the screws I removed the existing towel bar and looked at those screws. I think they were about an inch deep. I then added the depth of the new towel holder to my measurement which was about 1/4 inch and chose screws that would work with this combined depth. (About an inch and a quarter I think).
I did not use the screws that came with it because they were a bit flimsy I went with a brass screw with a wide head.. That was thicker and stronger than the ones supplied.

Lady W - it's an understatement to say you are REALLY talented. Great job ! You should go into business - there would be a long list of customers waiting in line for make overs. Thanks so much for sharing it with us all.

Storage Racks/Shelving Questions

first off, I totally love all of your ideas - you are a girl after my own heart! We camp often and never seem to have enough storage. I'm terrified of damage with nails and screws - don't know where the wiring is in our Jayco Jayfeather TT. How much weight can a wall-mounted shelf support? How thick are the walls? How do you hang up storage racks on such thin walls? thank you for your help.
