Help....power issues

so if i am running off battery power shouldn't my electric outlets still work to use house items.....sorry for being nieve I'm new to RVing....

No. Battery is 12 volts. Outlets are 120V. You need to be hooked to shore power or have the genny running for 120V. If you have an inverter that needs to be operating to convert 12V to 120 but you also need to watch your power consumption or you drain the batteries.

Battery power is 12V, outlets are 120V. The outlets require shore power or generator.
