Hot water problems

Searched our forums and didn't see this one from the college of obscure knowledge.....

On a first trip of the season a couple years ago, experienced intermittent hot water in the shower and kitchen sink of our travel trailer. I spent several hours checking systems trying to figure out what was wrong.

After returning home and searching extensively online, a real "dah" moment took place.

On winterizing a few months before, I ran antifreeze through the outside shower, then turned off flow at the shower head leaving the hot & cold water valves open. At the start of the season, I didn't even think about 'de-winterizing' the outside shower.

Sure enough, the way plumbing was routed, all I had to do was go outside and turn off the shower valve(s) to restore proper hot water flow inside!

With Spring around the corner, maybe this fix will save someone a lot of frustration.
