Hummingbird - How to Purge air From Water lines

What is the best procedure for doing this? Instructions in manual do not seem to work.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

Your Hummingbird has a 'city water' connection, a fresh water tank, and a water heater, correct?

Is this your first time using the trailer? Have you had other RVs before this one?

GREETINGS. City Water works great as well as the heater. But for "dry camping" the water pump delivers only spurts of water - too much air still in the lines. Tried 3 techniques without success (opening / closing various faucets as recommended by Jayco Customer Service and the Dealer). This is my 1st RV. What works for you? Thanks.

If city water hookup works fine your problem with the pump spitting may be that the valve for the siphon hose is open somewhat allowing air in. Take a look at the attached picture, make sure that the valve to the left of the pump is closed, it has a hose attached used for winterizing and should be closed for regular use.

One other spot that air can be entering is the strainer generally located between the winterize valve and the pump. If the top is not screwed on tight, or there is a crack in it, air can be sucked into the system causing spurting.
