I figured you already did, but there are times (myself included) when we don't "see the forest for the trees" so I threw out my suggestion. In the end, though, it's your decision and I'm confident that you'll choose the light that best suits your needs. Actually I have that same worklight/flashlight here at home. However, I paid a little more for mine because I bought it from a Boy Scout troop that was selling them as a fundraiser.

Sorry to think that not having light in your refrigerator was probably one of those things where some accountant figured out that if they eliminated the light, they'd save $3.00 on each refrigerator they sell; and if they sold 10,000 refrigerators, they'd make and extra... (you do the math).

And yes not sure why the lack of a light, even the guys at my local dealership were stumped when I told them the situation.

Got it! Testing in the fridge over the next 24hrs. If all works well it'll get some lithium batteries and earn a new home watching over my beer..........n food.
