Is new RV bathroom used during delivery?

Is new RV bathroom (e.g. toilet) used during delivery from factory to dealer? It can be thousands of miles and take days.
If driver sleeps inside the RV, quite sure it is used.

Maybe

There use to be a guy that was a transporter that post here. He stated they were permitted to use the camper they were transporting.

That is not true, at least for JAYCO. The put a sticker on the key hole and if it is opened/punched through the delivery driver is in "DEEP S---".

Our Seneca was in for Service at the CW we purchased it at... It was winterized before we took it there.... When we picked it up a couple of weeks later - the bathroom was most certainly used. There were brown streaks of dried poo along the side of the bowl and on the valve plate that opens/shuts to the tank. This was when we were having warranty work that was part of the delivery inspection done on the motorhome...

That's a dealer issue not the delivery driver.

If the Jayco Factory Dealers don't care that their own employees/managers/owners are using the customers winterized bathrooms... who are they to check to see if the delivery driver used the same winterized bathroom. Mute point! as the dealer is responsible for the presentation of the Jayco product to the customer (why they are a Jayco Authorized Dealer)
.

The rig belongs to the dealer, JAYCO ships nothing unless it has been paid for in advance. Also the drivers do not work for JAYCO they work for a delivery service.

I've been at our dealer when new MH's have come in and it normally takes them over a 1/2 hour before they sign the acceptance paperwork. So a good dealer will make sure it hasn't been used.

Far as I know they weren't used in trailers I purchased but who can say for sure. Dealer should find it in PDI. These delivery guys have access to truck stops and rest areas just like every one else so I would think they would use those facilities.

Bathroom should be locked during delivery. Dealer has its own bathrooms and must not use soon-to-be-customer's RV bathroom. If bathroom is used, it is no difference from buying a one-year-old used one.

A lot of it is the dealer. The dealer should be checking EVERY new unit when I shows up. TT's and 5ers should be sealed shut like a tractor trailer is. MH and class a, c would be a little harder but theres ways to do that too. I'm sure if an auto dealer found 30mi on a brand new auto that just rolled off the delivery carrier they would be a bit mad. And as a customer I'd be livid. My truck was 5 hrs away in another state on a dealer trade. I went with the dealer porters all the way there to check the truck over BEFORE it was coming back. The salesman made an honest mistake and sent us to the wrong dealer. This truck had the wrong interior color. It had every available option on it and my decision for bringing it home was when input the key in the ignition and turned it on. It had 3 miles on it, not 30, or more, like I've seen on some lots. 30 miles means it was "test driven" or some crap like that and as far as I'm concerned it's now used.
Btw, I couldnt drive the truck home, liability reasons, but i rode shotgun all the 300 mile way home.
