A lot of it is the dealer. The dealer should be checking EVERY new unit when I shows up. TT's and 5ers should be sealed shut like a tractor trailer is. MH and class a, c would be a little harder but theres ways to do that too. I'm sure if an auto dealer found 30mi on a brand new auto that just rolled off the delivery carrier they would be a bit mad. And as a customer I'd be livid. My truck was 5 hrs away in another state on a dealer trade. I went with the dealer porters all the way there to check the truck over BEFORE it was coming back. The salesman made an honest mistake and sent us to the wrong dealer. This truck had the wrong interior color. It had every available option on it and my decision for bringing it home was when input the key in the ignition and turned it on. It had 3 miles on it, not 30, or more, like I've seen on some lots. 30 miles means it was "test driven" or some crap like that and as far as I'm concerned it's now used.
Btw, I couldnt drive the truck home, liability reasons, but i rode shotgun all the 300 mile way home.
