Jayco 6 weeks late on delivery?

We placed our order for a 2017 Jayco Seismic 4113 on March 3. The dealer got it into the system on March 7 and told us we'd take delivery by Memorial Day, about 12 weeks later. That sounded like along time to me, but I added 4 weeks to that to allow some cushion, just in case. I just got an update from the dealer that it will now be off line JULY 12, about 6 weeks late!!!

I got no updates from the dealer along the way, and they never called me to tell me it would be 6 weeks late. When I asked for updates, all I got was we'd now be getting a 2018 model (good) and the interior color we wanted is discontinued (bad) and one option we wanted is also discontinued (bad). So I'm really not that happy with Jayco or the dealer right now.

Has anyone else dealt with (or are dealing with) the same situation? Is there anyone at Jayco that can be called? We are going to full time in this unit and I have rented my house to a family starting July 1, which means my wife, two kids, and I have nowhere to live for three weeks.

Any advice here would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks all!

Sorry to hear about the delay, there have been members posting recently that their delivery dates have been significantly delayed, so you are not alone. RV business is booming.

Are you certain that the dealer got the order in on March 7? Sounds like maybe the dealer didn't get it ordered right away.

There's been many threads about delayed deliveries. The dealers should not make promises on orders made in the spring. Factories are swamped. Almost guaranteed to be a delay.
