LCD TV Storage

Is it ok to leave household lcd TVs in our TT over the winter? We are in NJ. Thanks

There is no problems with leaving the electronics in the TT over the winter. They are shipped all over the world in all weather environments. A good example is rail cars loaded in mid winter going across norther Canada to future consumers.

Trailers that sit on dealer lots have televisions in them.

I went with the temperature limits listed in the LCD TV owner's manual. With the numbers I found, it was most likely that sometime, during winter storage, the temperatures will drop below that range. So I elected to remove the TV's and store them in a safe place in the basement. I can remove them from their mounts in the trailer in like 10 seconds or less, so it is literally no trouble.

I think we can all agree dealers don’t always do the right thing. So this is a weak justification... with that said I️ have never removed my lcd TVs from my campers but it only gets so cold here in MD. It wouldn’t take much time to remove them so maybe I️ may this year....
