Luan Flooring/Soft Spots?

I知 not sure about newer models but I believe the older Jaycos (at least the jay feathers) used luan flooring instead of tongue and grove plywood. I知 looking at a 2016 x213 and believe this is the case.

Has anyone had soft spot issues with their floor? I recently sold an 06 Kodiak that I had to replace the entire floor because the luan got wet and wrecked so I知 super nervous about this.

Thanks!

It's true that some of the light weight trailers had a foam/luan sandwich floor that was prone to soft spots over time and they were poorly supported underneath. I can't speak to that particular model, but I would be reluctant to buy one with that floor construction. The Jayflights use plywood over wood joists, which is much stronger.
