Mounting a hitch to frame

Hey Ya’ll,
Just purchased a new Jay Feather and I’m looking into options for mounting generator externally. Ideally I’d like to have a storage rack on the rear of the trailer but it will need to be attached to the frame rather than bumper. Just wondering if anyone had had discussion with Jayco regarding bolting or welding to the frame of a new trailer and if it voids chassis warranty.

FYI, our trailer is a hybrid so the front rack that attaches to the tongue above propane tanks unfortunately isn’t an option.

Any advise or options would be appreciated!!

Thank you in advance!!

Unless it is designed by Jayco the warranty will be void for the chassis. But here comes the logic you probably don't will require warranty..........which is a gamble.
Because of the light high tensile strength frames of the Jay Feather I would recommend making a frame for the Hitch and bolt it to the chassis.
By the way a generator close to propane tanks and regulator never is a good option anyway. Good luck with your construction.
