Mud flaps

Anyone put mud flaps on their TT?

Thinking it would disperse the water away from the underside of the TT during a rain storm and away from the grey/black dump gate valves.

I took a dually mud flap and cut it in half. Made a mounting bar out of flat bar
Bolted to the rear auto level jack mount on our eagle. Hade to trim the lower roll pan under both slides but it works great! Keeps the road dirt and sand off the leveller.
Our tank connection is in front of trailer tires and don't get much on it.
I put a large mud flap across back of truck. Hooks in 2 inch trailer reciever under bumper. That and good mud flaps on truck help a lot!

I had a Trailmanor a few years back and added mudflaps due to the closeness of the drain valves and the wheel. As in just a few inches. The Traimanor owners site had numerous tank wipeout reports from blown tires or road debris. As above I bought a semi-truck type mudflap and cut it in half. Then I used so aluminum angle "iron" that I bought to make a reinforcement. Never had a blowout but it gave me peace of mind.
