New Furnaces

Is it just me or have the furnaces in the new/newer RV's gotten noisier?
Michigan weather has dictated we run the furnace at night and our new 2018 Pinnacle 36KPTS furnace sounds like a jet engine when running. Although it ran fine and took the chill off I was a bit concerned with the noise. (Sound of combustion) Last night a new Jayco Jay Flight pulled in next to us and his furnace sounds the same.

Our last 2 Fivers (2003 Designer & 2012 Pinnacle) and our Travel Trailer (1999 Eagle) furnaces were not as noisy/loud.

Yes I agree they are definitely noisier! We are in a 2017 Precept and have had to use the furnace the last couple of nights Sounds like a jet engine! Our last TT didn't seem as loud. Guess just the way it is now.

I have a friend who had the combustion chamber replaced on a 10 year old rig and his complaint was it was noisier than the old one. Hmmm!

We ran the furnace on our 18 Eagle last time out and while it heated fine it made enough noise that I was convinced something was wrong.

When we need to rely on the furnace for heat, we run a fan in the bedroom to dampen the noise that the furnace makes when it kicks on. We run a space heater whenever possible because of this.

I want an Aqua-Hot hydronic floor heating system in my next rig. No more noise. May have to go to a Dynamax XL or Renegade to get it, don't care - the noise is driving the DW nuts (She's a light sleeper). I'll spring for the extra $$ for peace and quite

I thought we had a problem with ours when we first used it. The blower is exceptionally loud...
