One Control Unit - What does yours control?

I purchased a Jayco Eagle 336FBOK late last fall. In addition to the standard equipment we purchased a 2nd awning. After getting the unit home, we started playing around a little with the One Control Unit. I was surprised to see the the 2nd awning and its lights were not able to be controlled by the unit. I figured it must not have been programmed correctly. I took it back to the dealer to have the unit programmed properly only to be told that my unit only controls up to five devices. Those being my three slides, my primary awning and its associated lights. In other words, it's maxed out.

What items does your One Control Unit control? More than five? The Lippert site seems to display far more options. Just wondering if what I am being told is correct?

On mine it controls two awnings and the lights on each, three slides, bedroom and main ceiling lights and the leveling system. A limitation of 5 things seems bogus.

I would assume you need some type of “controller” added to the one control system for the additional awning.

There is a thread (maybe several) on folks modifying and/or adding additional functions like tank monitors, etc.
And a call to lippert should help.

I think your dealer is simply ignorant of the system or doesn’t wish to mess with it.

It may also help to post the trailer year and which one control system you have. Remote device, touch pad size, ver, etc.

I’m sure someone has been down this road.

Thanks, I'll look for threads on reprogramming the unit.

Lippert was no help whatsoever. Told me that it was a Jayco issue and that I needed to call the dealer.

Remote device is my phone with the app.

Not sure of the size of the touch pad. Trailer at the dealer right now.

Thanks, I'll check that out.

In the meantime, I found another thread that mentions the exact problem that I have and it states that there are what the call a 5 Control Unit. I think that truly is some sort of limiting factor. Looking to see if it can be expanded on though.
