I didn't say it wasn't included. I haven't even actually asked. I would guess that it is but I read another post that someone said they were being charged for it so I was wondering.

Thanks everyone. I have gotten a quote from RV Direct. They are saying it is for a 2015 model. If I added shipping to my location it would be another $3650 added to their price. My local dealer quote is $486 higher than that but for a 2016 model.

Jayco says that if ordered today it would be a 2016 but RV Direct didn't seem to know that yet since they haven't received 2016 prices at this point. So don't know if their quote would change?

What we did was pick out the model we wanted, then I googled the year/model to find out which local dealers were carrying it and asked for their "bottom line out the door" price. Once I had that, I let the other dealers know the best price I was offered. Luckily the one 2 miles away was willing to match the one 100 miles away, and I had 2 others say there was no way they could match that price - they'd only be making $500 on the deal (if that's true or not, I don't know, but the fact they wouldn't come any closer to it, made me feel like I was getting a decent deal!).

Before doing that the dealerships all said they didn't have much room to move on the price, could "maybe" throw in a battery or something. They ended up coming down $2300 from their "can't move on" price.

Done!

Success!!! I came to an agreement with Indiana RV (who also seems to own Richardson's RV in SoCal.) They gave me a better offer than Richardsons right at the 30% off MSRP point. I was assured that I will have no trouble with Richardsons getting service and warranty work. I am what you call a "HAPPY CAMPER" right now.

Ordering tomorrow and then the wait begins..

It's a Jay Feather Ultra Lite. I think it would pertain to any line though. I called Jayco today and they told me that they are finished manufacturing 2015's and that anything one orders now will be a 2016.

I do not yet know what changes will be made in the new year model though. That is supposed to be disclosed to dealers and public any time now.

The dealer writes up a whole sheet of options etc.. when he is done and hands it to me I take a marker pen out cross out the after tax final price and write in the price I am willing to pay.. he either accepts it or I leave... often you will get a call a day or 2 later meeting your price or one that is much closer to your price..

Never pay more than 75% of the MSRP.

I got my dealer below RVdirect pricing and then got a Slide Topper throw in as part of the negotiation. Came with a battery and full propane.

I have purchased 2 new and one used fifth wheels. They all came with new batteries and full propane. I guess my dealer eliminated that as a negotiating tool! LOL
