Out door kitchen poll

How many people actually use your out door kitchen? Any regrets getting it? Or would you rather have the extra storage?

We still have our 1985 Coleman Sequoia tent-trailer and one of its best/favorite features was the external Coleman stove ... so DH knew he'd use the White Hawk expanded "Man Kitchen" all the time! He likes the flow between the cooktop, microwave, fridge, bumper BBQ, and his lounge chair. It is especially useful for cooking anything that 'steams' (brewing coffee) as it keeps the moisture out of the TT. I think he uses it more than I use the inside cooktop!

Right now I pull the picnic table over near the TT to make it easier so yes I would love to have an outdoor kitchen.

We use ours on every trip, it's the one think I think I'm going to miss moving to a toy hauler.

Not having the outdoor kitchen is a huge regret on our part, but we didn't have the tow vehicle at the time for the TT. We have 28BHBE, and now that I have a better TV, wish we had the outdoor kitchen, due to all the time we spend outside.

We have a 33 bhts travel trailer with the outdoor kitchen. Would not be without one. I am the main cook when we camp and love being able to wash my hands while cooking. I also know there is a cold beer waiting for me at all times in the fridge. I use the two burner cook top to make bacon and eggs alot and its nice to keep the grease outside. Its nice to have all my utensils outside in the drawer so I don't have to go in and out.

We always found them a little under par, no matter how elaborate or outfitted they are. We're from Louisiana though. We bring our own BIG outdoor stove and grill. We like to cook a lot, and prefer one that's a LOT larger than what any RV manf has to offer. We don't just do camping food, we do full blown stews, gumbos etc, just like at home. We had an ODK in our last full time rig, and turned it into my tool storage. The only thing I really ever liked was the fridge, and the Yeti and ice machine took it's place in our now Jayco. Guess it all depends on what you want, and what kind of camping you do.

I set up my own outdoor kitchen with a propane stove, grill and deep fryer. I would not be with out it. I can cook anything with my set up. I don't think I would like the ones they build into the campers, at least the ones I have seen.

I believe those that have one will say they like it and those who don't have one will say they don't need it. We have only an outside fridge and like it. Would love to have a sink and cooktop too. Just the sink for washing hands as we are always outside along with the fridge would be great.

Love my outdoor kitchen. The whole point of camping, for our family, is to be outside. I look forward to cooking.

For the outdoor sink I have something like this and I use my outdoor shower for hot and cold water. Great for washing vegetables and hands plus cleanup.

I posted this before but this is what I use when I need to use a fry pan or sauce pan outside for cooking. I also use the butane inside because I don't use propane.

Love ours. Fridge for beer, microwave for popcorn, tv for the ballgame. All while sitting in my lawn chair by the fire. Life is good.

We use it, and love it. I did change out the sink faucet so it would accommodate a larger pot which I highly suggest doing if you use the outdoor sink.

For us, one of the benefits of having an outdoor kitchen is keeping things outside and not having to track dirt and mud inside everytime we need something from the fridge inside.
I have made a few mods to my outdoor kitchen such as the new faucet:



We also have a large family outting once a year and we use it for party favorites:
