Pharmacies while traveling

Hello, Interested in opinions and experience with pharmacies while traveling for long periods of time. Which one have you used and how difficult was it to find one while traveling West to the National Parks? How easy to transfer prescriptions and can you do it online.

We use a old fashion corner drug store. They will ship our prescriptions anywhere with an address.

We winter in Florida, visit relatives and travel in summer. Both CVS and Walgreens will fill your RX almost anywhere in the USA. Make sure you don't sign up for "auto refills" that both want you to do or you RX will be filled the last pharmacy you visited.

I have used Walgreens in Venice, FL, Peoria,IL, Denver, CO, near Mesa Verde, CO., near Fort Meade, MD and a few other places. No problems, call in, give name and birthday, name RX and pick up next day. If your RX runs out of refills you need the Dr. fax number and they will fax them for a refill request.

X-3 with national drug stores. Also look into 90 day supply refills.

Thank you! Looks like it isn't an issue at all once I transfer our prescriptions from a local pharmacy to a national chain.
