Re-cover faux leather theater chairs

Has anyone covered or recovered their RV theater seats? The faux leather seats are sticky and hot so thinking about covering the seat and back. If you’ve done this, would appreciate your experience.

I have not done theater seats but I did do the couch in our old RV. If you have not done that kind of work then I would not try it. The material is expensive and screwing it up means buying double.

An alternative is to take the seats to a shop and have them do it. A bit more expensive but they will make it look better than factory. And they can help you with fabric selection as well.
