Rotting/ Brittle Bathroom Fan Plastic

I just finished installing a couple of aftermarket ceiling vent fans in our 29.5 FBDS.

Up front over the bunk area, I installed a and over the bedroom in the back a

While up there, I looked at the bathroom vent and found it's flaking and breaking apart.

I have seen here, others having issues with the poor quality bathroom roof vent. The plastic is prone to becoming brittle from UV exposure and breaking apart. Some have had the vent replaced and getting a better fan installed instead under warranty. I've tried searching for those those threads, but haven't yet hit on successful keywords combinations that gets me what I'm looking for.

If folks who have dealt with this previously could please chime in, I can gather some 'ammo' and precedence to present to my dealer's service department.

Thanks

I had it replaced by the dealer.
I had to call Jayco and get the to authorize.
They covered the labor, but I had to buy the new fan.
I would have done the install myself, but the rig was in for other work, so might as well let them do it.
Got a fan like the first one you show above for $100 on ebay.....

What you saw when you went up on the roof concerning the brittle plastic is one reason I didn't go with the Heng' s Vortex fans. I installed the MaxxAir and glad I did.

What type of fan did they install under the warranty repair?
