Sad Day..
Imagine my surprise when I pulled up with my boy to get Buck and ...he is gone. Somebody stole him! I was just here 5 days ago.

Very sorry to hear that...
From the picture, that may be a storage facility... do they have insurance?

From the looks of it, this place stores some valuable toys. No surveillance cameras? That would be very poor management if not.

Awful. Key code tied to a user for access?
I hope he tore up his drivetrain pulling it.

Likely pulled it out with a stolen vehicle. Both are probably over the boarder now. The same thing happened to a friend of mine on another forum from Texas a couple of years ago. They stole his Ram and used it to steal a boat in the process.

The best time. Sneak around at night, when security is usually higher, and the gates are locked....and people notice.
Drive up as though you belong, nod to the guy on the gate, walk around as though you own the place... and you're invisible.
Just "oh yeah, that guy. Yeah he was medium build, medium complexion, medium hair, had clothes on. Nothing remarkable about him at all"
12:31, right around lunchtime, on a Wednesday. Nobody's paying any attention to an apparently legitimate Joe, taking his trailer out for a run. I bet somebody said "Have a nice trip"
I'd suggest this person, or people, have done this before.

Bummer, that's terrible. Hopefully its insured and replaceable. Sorry to hear about your loss, its a shame when people aren't accountable to themselves.

All I can say is I'm sorry for your loss! But hopefully there's still hope that it's not gone. Local news channel up here in Dallas ran a story this week about 20 or so stolen RV's & boats that were recovered from some property in Corsicana, TX.

Perhaps it was mistaken identity or miscommunication.

Oh man that sucks. I use a hitch lock on my 5th wheel when I parked it at a facility. Figured while not perfect, it might deter a thief. Would this have stopped them? https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...SABEgJRV_D_BwE

I used a pin lock. See allot of folks use a chain around wheels. Will try yours next! Thanks

I use a pin lock and hitch lock. But the best deterrent is that it's in my back yard and to get to it you have to go through my neighbor's driveway.
So thankful I've got the space to keep it at home.
Sorry for your loss. Hope they find it.

Looks like a nice storage facility. I imagine each renter must have a unique entry code in a place with multiple cameras. What do they say about who used the code at that time?
