Shower Door Fog

As we all know the water at some RV sites is questionable at best.
As a result, I have a fog on the inside of my shower door that will not clean off.
I've tried various concoctions an CLR but nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks y'all

Our solution was to buy an On the Go water softener. Soft water does stop the staining
You could try something like Iron out and see if that will remove the fog

A product called CLR - (Calcium - Lime Rust) works well to keep our glass doors looking clean. It removes the film left by hard water. I use it after every trip to pre-clean the glass.

I have removed the 3 panel glass doors in a previous camper and went with a shower curtain for this very reason. Our current camper is a bit more difficult as the glass is curved. It is easier to clean though because there is not 3 overlapping panels...

water in most of the country is going to hell.. your best solution to keep that residue form accumulating is simply use a squeezy on the sower door after each use.. I've been in the habit from day one and my shower doors looks as clean as new.

What kind of soap do you use? I notice more residue with bar soap, like Dial or Ivory. I switched to liquid body wash and I noticed that the shower stays a lot cleaner.

I love and agree with your signature, and it is one of my pet peeves when someone says hot water heater!!

The Mr Clean Magic Eraser. That's what it was for originally.

Maybe if we call it a warm water heater?? The water in it never gets really cold when it's on.

WD-40....Years ago I had a shower door so spotted with hard water and that stuff cleaned it right up.

...Also used it to get gum out of my grandson's hair...

Once you try all of the suggested solutions and if you are able to clean the door glass, spend the money on a RV water softener. You wife will love you for it when she washes her hair and you will not have the residue issues again.

Barkeeper's Friend. Takes some scrubbing, but cuts most any type of buildup.

Try applying rain-x for windshields to the door.

Agree. We towel down the entire shower, fixtures and glass after each use by the last person out. Still looks like new. Don't go off and leave it wet expecting to be able to clean it later.

Using white vinegar will also clean it.
