If it's not a published option for the unit you may not be able to get Jayco to install them during manufacture. I had my solar installed by the dealer prior to delivery and as part of the sale.

Is it better to get solar panels installed the same time the 5er is being manufactured Jayco (special order) or better to get an after market install?
Based on the quality of installations coming out of Jayco these days, I'm not sure I'd have them do anything extra. I would have it installed aftermarket by an expert.
