Solution for Furrion TV thru Furrion stereo speakers

I have seen a few threads where owners want to add wireless headphones to hear the TV. I live alone and have no problem running the TV volume through the stereo. Before going with the headphones have you tried this? Here is my primer:

I guess the ole hearing is going. I finally got the Long Hot Summer DVD and was trying to enjoy it while washing dishes. The sound is not loud enough and I believe it is either the DVD or in the player. The TV on antenna seems loud enough. Here is a primer for using your Furrion stereo to output your Furrion TV. Both were factory installed (you will need the TV remote but not the stereo remote).

How to use the Furrion stereo speakers with Furrion TV with dvd input. I use it for DVD but I am sure it will work on TV mode as well:

Ensure TV is on and volume coming out.

Turn on stereo.

Turn "Input" to ARC i.e. there is a button on the stereo panel that is to the left of the volume button. Mine is the last button in the middle row of the three rows of buttons. Make sure the screen reads "ARC" and not AUX.

Turn up volume loud.

Go to TV remote and there is a button that reads AUX/ARC. Mine is second to the right of AM/FM. Push the button and you should hear the TV through the stereo speakers. There is no indication on the TV when that button is pushed.

Go outside and ensure your outside speakers are not blasting the neighbors.

note- I have a 2017 model and think the year range for the stereo and TV are about the same.

I do everything that you do but I hit the ARC on the radio and the tv audio comes out a few seconds. I don't hit anything else in the remote. The only other thing I do is make sure the tv sound is turned all the way down. Just wondering in the remote has anything to do with it. I work the volume with the radio volume knob. Hope this make sense to you.
