Stinkbug Invasion Story:
Three years ago, my wife and I were camping at Lums Pond State Park near Newark, DE. At the time, they had the worst stinkbug infestation I have ever seen. We had a popup at the time, and they were EVERYWHERE! They invaded the trailer near sunset. Under the beds, in the air conditioner, in our pillows, in our clothing -- every crack and seam! I went to the local Home Depot and bought a shop vac to suck them up. I must have sucked up 500 of those things.
We spent an entire evening trying to clean up the trailer and were very exhausted afterward. We ended up leaving early the next day. On the way home, we bought some insecticide bombs. We popped the trailer up and bombed it. We stood outside and watched as they emerged from everywhere. After a few hours, we saw many of them still walking and flying around, so I set up another bomb and nuked it again.
The next day, I vacuumed up about 500 more of those things (dead from the bomb). A year later I was working on my electrical panel and discovered bodies there and later in my air conditioner. I totally hate those things and I kill everyone of those things I spot. I grab them with leaves or paper towels and crush them. Oh, and BTW if you kill on on your wall or floor, make sure you wash it. If you don't the stink will attract more of them.
