Toad wiring help

I bought a toad with the tail lights wiring already installed. If I hook my coach R turn to the toad toad R turn, the coach R turn doesn't work. Unplug the toad R turn, and the coach R turn works. The toad has the diod's connected to the tail lights. Any thoughts? Stan

I would use a tester and check the harness from the coach to rule out a problem from there, test R,L,Brake, etc. If all is good then its the toad wiring that you will have to go through to locate the problem.

Might have the ground and voltage wires swapped on the toad. Also make sure your grounds are true ground wires and not relying on the hitch.

Any possibility that one diode on the right was installed backwards?

Took me most of Saturday, but I found the problem. Finally I had blinker current to the bulb, but the bulb didn't light up. I see all bulbs have the same ground wire, I used a jumper to put a ground to that wire, and both side lights worked. I don't work good on my back anymore, so I just added another ground wire. Thanks the reply's. Stan

Congratulations!

90% of the electrical problems I have had in autos and RV's have been caused by a bad ground wire/connection.
