Ha! I know what you mean. I live in the outskirts of a small northern Nevada town where lawns are optional. I opted out after mowing for 30 years in California before we moved here in 2005.

You are the first not to scare us with dreaded humidity.
I will take heat and humidity for 3 or 4 months over the sub freezing temps were get here for over half the year in the high desert.
