This is more informative in one place for a newb than anywhere else. Agreed. Use it all as intended.

I don't use latex gloves most times maybe twice to dump. Reading here was the reason I did twice. Just use my A game on the process and wash your hands.

Yesterday the guy in front of me at the dump station was wearing gloves. When he finished, his wife helped to remove them, taking care not to touch them. And into a special zip lock container they went. Then she squirted two different types of chemical on his arms and hands. He rubbed and scrubbed each time, and then she rinsed them with bottled water. He dried them with paper towel which also went into the zip lock container. By then I was over being annoyed at how long it was taking because the show they put on was so amusing.

I carry a box of disposable gloves with me and use them every once in a while, especially when I have cuts on my hands. Which, from all of the mechanical work that I do, happens quite often.

OK, OK, you're excused. Especially being a mod and all.

Glad I'm in good company!!

I use TP in the black tank, leave the gray open when on full hookups, dump/flush my black tank at least 3 times, winterize using primarily air instead of anti-freeze, leave my fridge on in transit (running on propane, assuming the generator and AC aren't running), let my son & DW watch movies while under-way, store a sewer hose in my bumper, don't often use gloves when dumping tanks (and yes, often wearing flip-flops), cook inside, watch the TV, use the DVD player, have and use a counter-top ice-maker, use the oven to bake (mostly biscuits or cinnamon rolls), run at 70-75 mph when I can... I'm sure there's more!

Oh man, we're all just a bunch of outlaws! Don't let the newbies see this kind of outlandish behavior.

Boy you guys are rebels! I'm also in the camp in that I use my camper to it's full extent. One thing I've read on the forum but not in this thread is the people who go #2 in their camper and then put the tp in a plastic bag for disposal. This has confounded me for years but then again I'm simple minded.

Not sure I'm in the same league as all of you, but I let the campfire burn out on it's own.

Having camp hosted for years I believe this is the norm and not necessarily a bad thing in an established campground with steel fire rings. I'd rather clean a fire pit of ashes than mud. No diapers, glass, food, or plastic is also helpful.

How'd you manage that?

You must be on the opposite end of my diet (I'm on the "see food" diet!). You must be on the "I see food, but I don't eat" diet?

Don't get me wrong, we like to try the "local flavors" as much as possible, but we still have at least a few meals at the rig when we're out...

We like being out in nature. The local flavors would be the squirrel or the acorns he’s eating. Not sure I’d want a eat a raw squirrel or fish.

We just always eat out wherever we camp. There are no pots/pans nor cooking utensils in the RV. We average about 26 nights/year out so it’s not that much
