Ventage camper

My sister took the pic of a camper and truck she saw at the local campground this past week. Both look good.

There is a couple guys in my town that have restored old campers.

What a great looking restored Shasta camper. My dad borrowed one similar to this one back in 1959 when I was 9 years old and we took a family trip to the Grand Canyon. I have been hooked on RV's since that trip. The DW wants to join the "Sisters on the Fly" (for those of you familiar with the group) and I would love to find a vintage Shasta to restore for her. Great pic, Shorty, thanks.

I think that's one of the new Shasta retro trailers. I've seen a couple of them at shows and on a dealer's lot. They're really cute but have a very light weight feel to them. An oddity that I noticed is to preserve the "original" roof line they mount the A/C near the floor which is pretty nice if you have hot ankles. I "think" Forest River makes them.

Found a video:

X2 on the possibility it is one of the current "retro" models.

They seemed quite well built (looked at one before I bought my Jayco).

Perfectly modern equipment in a totally retro style!

Yep, it does appear it could be a retro...either way, I would still love to have one.
