What’s this little hook for?

Good morning from 1000 Islands! We are brand new to RVing, and are constantly finding new clever little gadgets on our Hummingbird. Does anybody know what this is for? We’ve found one on each side of the trailer toward the front end.

uh oh... We had tried that on a prior trailer... a big T-storm with a bunch of wind came along, the garbage bag twisted and blew around and eventually pulled/twisted the hatch-latch on the aluminum skin and made a big mess of things.

It's also good for putting a notch in your head. Ouch!

Were just getting ready to close up my wife’s summer home at the Islands. It’s on the water between Cape Vincent & Clayton. Yard work yesterday along with a nice fire & sunset.

Don't forget to pick up some River Rat cheese before you leave!

Oh yes, the store is on James Street in Clayton and we ship it back because we fly back to Bellingham. Didn’t get to the finger lakes this summer and we really miss the Grape Pies from the Naples area.

Monica's are the absolute best! I'll have to PM you when we get reservations next year, for Cedar Point in June. It'd be great to meet you all!
