Hello from Tennessee!!!

Hello everyone. My wife and I are looking into buying our first motorhome in the upcoming 6 to 12 months and we have settled on the Jayco Precept 36A as we have 2 young ones who LOVE the idea of having bunkbeds. I would love to get any and all feedback as to this coach, pros, cons, likes, dislikes, things to watch out for etc.
I am looking forward to meeting and making some new friends here.

Thank you,

Morgan

Hey, neighbor, from Townsend!

You're gonna enjoy the Precept; our 31UL thus far has been a delight, a nice move up from our previous coach, a Thor A.C.E. The only real dislike was the Soundstream infotainment unit, but I understand Jayco has since gone with Sony, so if you're buying a new one, hopefully yours will be OK. Placement is a bit of an issue, as it's out of acceptable line of sight while driving, and the screen isn't that big.

Due diligence on the pre-delivery run-through with your salesman. Ours was done by one of the service guys and was great - very helpful. Oh, and you might want to have the dealer do a proper front end alignment, preferably by a shop familiar with the F53 chassis. I didn't know to do that, and soon will be footing the bill for it myself.

If you're ever over this way, let me know - coffee's hot and adult beverages are cold!

Mickey

Welcome from Georgia! Don’t have a Precept, but do have a C with Bunks and my older kids think its a nice set up when they occasionally join us. The middle daughter does promote strategic use of the windows in the bunk area to keep it from getting too warm .
