I can't believe I'm buying a trailer

Saturday I'm picking up a new Jay Feather 7 18RBM. After my last tt I owned in 08 I said I would never own one again.
But times change and bad memories fade. This time I decided to buy new and not inherent someone else's problem.
It's just the wife and I so we didn't need anything to big. We both liked the 18rbm so I pulled the trigger on one.
I went with Jayco because it gave me the best sense of quality out of all the entry level trailersince.
I'm looking forward to our new trailer and many new adventures.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Jayco. Like you, we also liked the quality of the Jayco when we were shopping. We've only had to go in 2 times for minor warranty work in the year and a half that we have owned it. Enjoy your trailer and let us know how you like it. Have fun!

Congratulations.

Sounds like you had a bad experience with your old TT. Just note these are man made and not robots like cars, you will have a few issues, and expect to bring it in a few times for some warranty work. There is a 2 year warranty so use it.

The biggest thing to remember is to check the roof, the manufactures recommend twice a year and reapply caulk as needed to keep the water out.

Enjoy

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to the group! I am a believer in buying new as well unless you have the time and experience necessary to hunt down the good deals on the "Slightly used" ones...

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
A leaky roof did my last tt in along with a few other problems.
I will be definitely keeping a close eye on the roof.
