Need to keep battery powered while stored?

I'm keeping my trailer at an RV storage facility and I removed the battery (and put it in my basement) to prevent possible theft.

Is there any chance it will lose power sitting there for a few weeks, or should I be ok? If it needs to be powered, what kind of set up do you recommend?

Thanks.

If you mean 3-4 weeks rather than 3-4 months then the battery will hold virtually all of its charge. If you take it out of the plastic battery holder be sure to set it on a wooden block or a plastic or rubber pad; batteries set on concrete or dirt tend to lose more of their charge than those set on an insulating material.

Just like Texas Sam said, if you store on wood or plastic you will be fine.
DO NOT store it on cement. It will drain faster.
Typically any battery will lose about 1% of it's capacity a month.
If you have it stored and disconnected for a long period of time such as 3 - 6 months, it would be a good idea to "Top it Off" or charge it the day before you reinstall it in the Trailer.
