New 29ME on the way!

Howdy all. We have just completed our almost 3 year journey researching and renting various Class C units and just finalized the paperwork on a new 2017 Greyhawk 29ME.

We live in the North Texas area between Dallas and Ft. Worth and have been in Class C's many times but figured for what we were paying a week at a time, we might as well spend that on ownership.

We were looking at Forest River, Four Winds and Jayco, among others. Needed the walk around bed, two seating areas, a full kitchen (for me!) and room for dogs to come along (we have 3).

We saw quite a few models we liked but none that really met all our needs. The 29ME actually exceeded them for us.

So this Friday afternoon, just in time for holiday traffic jams between our home and the dealership over in Ft. Worth, we will be picking up our new RV!

Looking forward to learning a lot from here...

Cheers,
Keith (& Teresa)

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks all, we are really looking forward to getting out in our own rig. Now the big question is, where to first?!

Picked up our new 'Hawk' last Friday and already spent two nights 'camping' at the end of our driveway! Discovered the dinette bed was not the place for an adult too. The queen bed in back is much nicer.

Had to order an extendable ladder since we don't have slide toppers and right now, can't fit an install into the budget. Need to be able to get up there since we have lots of trees nearby that I presume will want to shed onto the tops of our slides.

Looks big from this angle...
