Cool New to Forum and RVing

Hi Everyone,

We are picking our new 2022 FW Eagle 317RLOK. Exciting as we are retiring in a few months and have lake front property in VA so our plan is to go there in summer, spring and fall and remain in the South during the winter as we live in Orlando Florida and our kids/grandkids all live in VA. So much to learn as we have never been RV'ing at this level.

Welcome. I've spent about a year plus here and am amazed at the knowledge, wisdom and friendliness. So much to learn and I'm learning every day from these good people. Just one small point though - VA is very much the south! I live just across the Potomac in MD and in many ways my state is still very much "under" the Mason-Dixon Line. Just teasing a bit on this point. One of my favorite spots is Shenandoah National Park on the East side of VA. Happy RVing to you.

That is a great plan... I'm looking at retiring very soon.

I'll say - ENJOY your time in your Eagle while you are away... Hopefully your property in VA has an RV Pad with Water/Sewer and Electricity already set up while visiting the kiddo's.
