Smile Newbie Here

Just coming into the Jayco family. Trading in the Phaeton 40ft. motorhome and switching to a 5th wheel. Ordered a 2018 Pinnacle 36FBTS last week, traded in the Flex we towed and purchased a 2017 F350 DRW diesel. We do the Florida snowbird thing in the winter and travel a bit in the summer. We have been in some sort of RV for 40+ years but the 5th wheel is completely new to us. Looking forward to the wealth of info on the forum.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Jayco. It will be a switch from the motorhome to the 5th wheel, driving mostly. I’ve had both and there are advantages to each. I wish you the best in your new 5th wheel. I think you will like it.

From a fist year Winter Texan, Congrats on the pending delivery and, welcome to JOF. Also curious what prompted the move from a MH to a fiver. We fumbled quite a bit with a sub-freezing home on our trip from the tundra to anyplace that warranted de-winterizing. Keeping meds, toiletries and food from freezing was a challenge we underestimated.
