Our first camper

Wife and I finally bought our first camper 287BHS. I grew up with camping from before I can remember. Grandparents carted us grand kids around all over. Wife and I have been tent camping for about 25yrs now and finally decided we were tired of sleeping on the ground. We looked at a lot of different units but were hard pressed to find something in our price or towing ability and room for a family of 5 plus friends. The 287BHS wasn't exactly our complete list of wants but in this current market its what we had to work with. So far we are very pleased and having a blast camping in it. Just got back from a week trip that rained for days and I can honestly say I don't miss mopping up a leaky tent one bit. Much more fun to be had. Ty for having us along for the ride.

Welcome to JOF and congrats on the purchase of your 287BHS. You had fun after days of rain, that says a great deal. It will only get better. Have fun.
