Neat idea for overnights
We don't ever go far enough we need to stay overnight any place but this sounds like a neat idea for those that do. Better than a Walmart parking lot. Hopefully they get it off the ground an can open more of these up

I wondered that too, wonder why they didn't post it? Being that it takes a good chunk of change to build that place, I can't believe it would that low of a cost.

JFlightRisk, I think that was a bad link, but I found it anyway.
Price is $39/a night plus $5 in fees.... so, for $45/night, you could probably find a space at many different campsites that have more to offer....

Great idea for some, as long as you don't have to have $39 in quarters to get in!

Yeah, but the "tone" of the original article made it sound like it's an alternative to FREE Walmart parking lot or truck stops. So, if this thing is not free, and on the edge of a major highway, would it just be worthwhile to spend $10 more, and go park overnight in a nice, quiet campground, away from the highway noise?

The Indian Meadows Service Plaza in MI on the I-80 has this. I believe it's $20 for the night. I would pay $20 for a hookups and a dump station. Probably not $39 if it was just a parking lot.

Its $20 for 10 hours. Plus free water and dump, WiFi and garbage. 6 adults and 6 dogs included. I love the concept. Its not for camping just a pull over to sleep in a safe place. I don't sleep more than 6-8 hours when I'm headed to my next destination anyway. Cool. Hope to see more of these hassle free places pop up all over the nation. Thanks for sharing.

There is a KOA in Statesville North Carolina that I use in a similar manner on our way to and from Florida every year. It is simply a pull in, plug in, drop the stabilizers, cook dinner and go to sleep. I don't even unhook the tow vehicle.
It is a nice KOA, but as many times as we have stopped there, we have never used any of the park amenities. It runs approx $45 for the night that we stop with the KOA member discount. I certainly would be the type to use a simple stop over point with hookups for one night, especially if it would be 50% of the cost of a campground.
