Washer/Dryer Combo @ Costco

Just FYI for anyone interested, Costco has a washer/dryer combo unit (ventless) on the website for $949.99. I don't know anything about the manufacturer and there aren't any reviews, but I'm considering buying...Anyone have any info on Haier products?

Don’t know anything about that brand first hand but it seems like it is more of a value brand. Costco is supposed to have a good return policy( from what I hear ) if you end up being unhappy with it.

I have heard of Haier before and think it is a pretty good brand. Do not recall if it was a washer/dryer combo or some other appliance. Curious to see what you think if you purchase it.

There's 53 reviews of the unit on the Home Depot site, if that helps at all.
It got a 3.2 out of 5 from the 53 reviews.

Thanks Roc! I read all the reviews...most give it pretty good reviews, but you helped me come to a decision! I think I'd rather get a vented unit...I'll keep looking!

Haier is a pretty common brand in smaller household appliances.

They are pretty common at big box stores and even Walmart. I have a dehumidifier made by them and am very happy with it.

We used one similar to this and found that the total cycle time was very long.

You have a small load capacity and you can't wash a second load if you are drying a first load.
