Y’all are killing me! Haven’t had a drop of alcohol in 27 days! I’m trying to skew the blood results for my physical this Thursday. DW is making me, as it’s been 5 yrs since I last had one.

Pretty Good Stuff

Since I'm weather quarantined (125 ft driveway with 45 ft elevation change covered with ice...more coming), might as well enjoy something different.

On the other hand Dan, a beer or two might make the physical a little more comfortable...

You have to be careful; there could be serious side effects due to lack of alcohol poisoning...

While the 4*F and snow didn't thrill me, the *other* upside to Colorado is the hundreds of craft breweries with a stone's throw.

Tonight, I'm back with my Original - the first craft beer I had when I came up here 25 years ago: Left Hand Brewing.

I tell you, Left Hand could make 10W-30 Rotella taste good. Those guys are magicians.

Tonight is the limited Brewers Test Kitchen Dunkel.
October is an especially good time for beer lovers.

zum Wohl!!!

I always like a good IPA, and here in New Mexico, Santa Fe Brewing Co makes "Happy Camper IPA". It's quite good. That, and the fact that in NM you can get chili peppers on your license plates, are reasons we chose to sign a contract to build a house here in Las Cruces. We will close this summer and then reverse snowbird, heading north for the spring and summers.

Love to, if I was still in MI. But this evening it’s North Coast Old Rasputin. Fantastic stout.

My go to is Alaskan Amber, bottle or tap.

Also like to try local micro-brews as we wander.

Most favorite ever is Erdinger Pikantus, an imported German beer. Found it at the Alpine Inn Steakhouse in Hill City, SD. Have a couple every year on our annual trip to the Black Hills - except they couldn't get it this year due to Covid!
