Whoo boy - Ticks are out

Around Park City, KY where we are... ticks are out En Masse all ready...


The dog is fine... apparently the Simperica TRIO really works...but the ticks hitch a ride apparently into the RV, then get on us...have sprayed and use spray on the legs when walking, but they still seem to know how to get to the "uncovered" parts ...

yep Nothing says wake up faster than a 4 am tick burrowing into you and you wondering after you slay that one how many are in your bed .. and your partner fast asleep.

I took 5 off one son and 1 off the other a week ago after a highway cleanup project with the Boy Scouts in northeast Illinois. One was attached but not yet burrowed. The others were on clothes. The ticks died quickly and quietly.

We were thinking the same thing...but Internet Search returns zilch - other than one reason there isn't is that "Humans can pick them off".
